SERIES 60XX (STRONG 6004, 6011, 6020)


To update firmware follow next steps:


1. Connect Receiver and Pc with null-modem cable

*Do not plug in or unplug null-modem cable when receiver is powered on!

2. Turn Off receiver on button at back of the receiver (power ON-OFF switch), and plug the receiver in the power.

3. Start tool STBTool and select COM-port, which use (by default is COM-port 1).

4. Click at BROWSE in top area in column FIRMWARE, and choice file (new SW or patch which you want to upload. The files have extension *.upd) which you want to upload to receiver, and then click on button START UPDATE. (Receiver is all time plug in on the power but turn off on button at back of the receiver) when process start, turn on receiver on button at back of the receiver (power ON-OFF switch), and wait. (process durability 2-3 min.)

6. When process finished will be appear on display small window in which show, that UPLOAD SUCCESS, then click Ok and that is that.

CAUTION: While transmitting and burning, it is very important to avoid other operations such as power off, or stop process, because this may cause destruction of the data in the flash memory and the receiver will be destroyed.
